The Signals section explains why your brand is losing visibility in AI-generated answers. It uncovers the underlying factors that influence how AI engines select, structure, and reference content.  

This section consists of three key parts:  

Citation Gaps & Trust Signals – The Citation Gaps & Trust Signals dashboard helps users understand where AI engines cite a brand, where competitors are gaining visibility, and which trusted sources influence AI-generated answers. 

  1. Authority Influence Map

The Authority Influence Map shows the domains and source categories that have the strongest influence on AI responses. It helps users identify which websites, platforms, and content types are shaping visibility across AI engines. 

  1. Brand & Competitor Citation Sources – This section compares your website’s citation performance against competitors. It shows whether your brand is being referenced enough or losing visibility to competing domains.

2.a Website Pages Cited by AI – This section highlights the specific pages from your site that AI engines already cite. It helps users understand which content is performing well in generative search. 

  1. AI Source Categories Referenced – This section explains which types of sources AI engines rely on most, such as business websites, review platforms, blogs, news sites, and directories.

 

  1. Prompt Intelligence – This shows how prompts are distributed across brand visibility and citation outcomes. It helps you understand where your brand appears, where it is missing, and how it is being referenced in AI-generated answers compared to competitors. 
  2. Content Intelligence – This analyzes how AI engines structure their answers and the type of content they rely on across the customer journey. Through the Content Gravity Gap, it highlights how editorial content intent influences AI responses across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages, helping you identify content-driven visibility gaps.
